Start with Why

There are three things your organization, ministry, or parish can focus on: your purpose (WHY), your method (HOW) and your results (WHAT). We often get these backwards. We know WHAT we want and so we want to know HOW to get it. WHY is hardly a question because it seems self-evident…right? It turns out that this WHAT-focused approach leads to organizational failure. When you start with WHY, your church or ministry has the thrust it needs to figure out HOW to achieve WHAT you want and sustain it.
